Focus on…Using Your Laptop in the Library

17 September, 2007

The University Network is available for laptop users via data outlets or wireless connection in the Auchmuty and Huxley Libraries, Student Hubs at the Callaghan and Ourimbah campuses, and the City Precinct (CHIC).

Fixed cables are being installed in the Laptop areas in the Auchmuty Foyer and in the AIC which will mean that lending of laptop cables can eventually be phased out.

Connecting your laptop to the wired or wireless network does not enable printing to the network printers or access to applications loaded on the lab PCs or MACs – it provides INTERNET ACCESS ONLY.
