New trial – The Birds of North America

The Birds of North America is an online project of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, based on the print version of BNA which was completed in 2002, a joint 10 year project of the American Ornithologists’ Union, the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and the Academy of Natural Sciences.

Contents are updated frequently, with online-coordinated contributions from researchers, citizen scientists, and designated reviewers and editors. In addition, BNA Online contains image and video galleries showing behaviors, habitat, nests, eggs and nestlings, and more. And each online species account contains recordings of that bird’s songs and calls, selected from the extensive collection in Cornell’s Macaulay Library of Natural Sounds.

Theatre in Video contains more than 100 definitive performances of the world’s leading plays, together with more than 60 film documentaries, online in streaming video – more than 250 hours in all. This release contains 162 titles, representing hundreds of leading playwrights, actors and directors.

Luthers Werke on the World Wide Web reproduces the Weimar Edition in electronic form. The Weimar Edition, which is regarded as a monumental work in the field of theology and the German language, was first published in 1883 and includes 127 volumes.
