Human Rights Documents Online (HRDO) will ultimately contain all human rights documents collected by the Human Rights Internet (HRI) in Ottawa in Canada since 1980.
These documents emanate from 417 non-governmental human rights organizations (NGOs) worldwide, some of which have a universal scope, whilst others focus on the attainment of human rights in a specific area of the world.
The first phase of the project was the digitization of the documents of 2003. This part was released in December 2007. The scanned microfiches from the period 1980-2004 will be added in 2008/2009. In this period we will also add new documents from the period 2005-2006.
