New trial – China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI)

China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) is a key national project of China. Its purpose is knowledge sharing throughout China and the world. From its beginning in June, 1996, the global reach of CNKI full-text databases has grown substantially. CNKI now serves more than four hundred universities, public libraries, research institutions, enterprises, and hospitals in more than twenty countries.  It includes:

  • China Academic Journals Full-text Database
  • Century Journals Project
  • China Citation Database

Each has 10 discipline based series:

  • Science-Engineering(A)  Mathematics/Physics/Mechanics/Astronomy
  • Science-Engineering(B)  Chemistry/Metallurgy/Enviroment/Mining
  • Science-Engineering(C)  Aviation/Irrigation/Architecture/Resources
  • Agriculture/Fishery/Forestry/Animal Husbandry  (D)
  • Medicine/Hygiene/Biomedicine Engineering/Preventive Medicine, etc. (E)
  • Literature/History/Philosophy/Art (F)
  • Politics/Military Affairs/Law (G)
  • Education/Social Sciences  (H)
  • Electronics/Infomation Science (I)
  • Economy/Management (J)
