Free access to Emerald Journal of the Week

Each week over the coming months Emerald will be providing free access to articles in two of their journal titles.

This week it is Clinical Governance and Social Enterprise Journal.

Huxley Library closed Saturday 2nd May

Due to electrical maintenance the Eastern side of the campus, including the Hunter Building will be closed on Saturday 2nd May 2009.

The Huxley library will therefore close on Friday 1st May at 6:00 pm and re-open again on Sunday 3rd May at 9:00 am.

Huxley books due back on Saturday 2nd May, and returned by Sunday 3rd May will not incur a fine.  Items may be returned to Auchmuty or one of the other libraries.

Huxley Short loans books may be borrowed from Friday, 1st May at 4:00 pm and will be due back on Sunday, 3rd May at 1:15 pm.

All the other libraries will be open as normal.

Booking Group Study Rooms

There are rooms available in the Auchmuty, Huxley and Ourimbah Campus Libraries that can be booked via Newcat.

You can now book the Auchmuty Biomedicine Clinical Skills Study Room online.

Simply do a Title search for Room Key. Some rooms contain either a PC and data display or video equipment. Seating varies from 10 to 20 people. More information is available here   www.newcastle.edu.au/service/library/services/room-bookings.html

ANZAC Day

All libraries open normal hours for ANZAC day. Only the City Campus Library will be closed.

Wiley InterScience downtime Tuesday 14th April

Due to maintenance, journal articles and books available via Wiley InterScience will be unavailable for approximately one hour from 6pm Tuesday 14th April 2009.

Book jackets in NEWCAT unavailable during maintenance

Book jackets in NEWCAT will be unavailable from 3-5pm on Sunday 12th April 2009.

Informaworld – scheduled maintenance 11th and 18th April 2009

Access to Informaworld will be unavailable on the following dates:

• Saturday 11th April, 2009 from 9am-5pm
• Saturday 18th April, 2009 from 1pm-9pm
