New Trial – Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Examination

The Library is currently trialling Bates’ Visual Guide to Physical Assessment

This resource delivers dynamic, clinically oriented, head-to-toe assessment videos that use interactive OSCE-style exercises to prepare students for exams and patient encounters.

The site features more than 8 hours of video content – all evidence-based and presented with a patient-first approach to the physical exam.  Students and faculty will appreciate the careful attention to clinical accuracy, as well as the range of patient types profiled in the series.

    Hi Debbie
    I trialled the new Bates Visual Guide to Physical Examination and thought this would be a helpful tool for 1st year and 1st semester 2nd year podiatry students as a good basic overview for some lower extremity examinations, as it touches on vascular, neuro, and physical examinations
