Due to an instance of excessive downloading, Taylor & Francis has applied a block to our account.

Due to IT maintenance the following Library systems will be unavailable for intermittent periods occurring between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm on Saturday 25th May 2013

In addition, an outage to Echo360 lecture recordings will occur between 8.00 am and 9.00 am (recordings scheduled during that period will be captured)

New Trial – International Monetary Fund eLibrary – access to the statistical databases of IMF

 

Trial is available from 8th May 2013 until 8th June, 2013

The IMF eLibrary Data is the platform for IMF statistical databases, offering customisable data tables and graphs. The IMF regularly publishes authoritative data reports, statistical yearbooks, studies, working papers and important research on where the global economy has been and where it is heading. The IMF eLibrary Data provides information and perspectives on macroeconomics, globalisation, development, trade and aid, demographics, emerging markets, policy advice, and poverty reduction.

The Library is currently trialling International Monetary Fund’s eLibrary. The IMF eLibrary is the platform for IMF publications and statistical databases, offering the entire catalog of IMF publications. The IMF regularly publishes authoritative data reports, statistical yearbooks, studies, working papers and important research on where the global economy has been and where it is heading. New Trial – Morgan and Claypool’s Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences

 

Trial is available from May 2nd until June 2nd, 2013

The Library is currently trialling Morgan and Claypool’s Colloquium Digital Library of Life Sciences.

This resource is an ebook library of lectures covering biotechnology, cell biology of medicine, the developing brain, developmental biology, and integrated systems physiology.  The lecture ebooks are 50- to 200 pages in length, each of which synthesizes an important research or development topic, authored by a prominent contributor to the field, providing researchers, academics and students with enough information to stay abreast of developments or to obtain an introduction to new fields. New series and lectures are added continuously and will include enhancements such as animations and video

Database downtime – ARTstor – Tuesday 16th to Wednesday 17th April 2013

Please be advised that ARTstor will be performing an upgrade to the ARTstor Digital Library on Tuesday, April 16th from 8:00 PM to  Wednesday, April 17th at 3:00 AM.

During this time, users will be able to access the Digital Library but may experience some slowness. This upgrade will eliminate the need for Java in the ARTstor Digital Library and single image downloads will be delivered in Zip files.
