Standards On-Line Service – Performance issues

We are currently experiencing some performance issues with the following database:

UoN clients trying to access the above services may experience some delay due to an unexpected technical issue with the server.

Our provider is  working on this as a matter of urgency and hope to have this resolved within the next few days.

EBSCO databases unavailable Saturday 31st May 2014

On Saturday, May 31, 2014, your EBSCO databases and services may be intermittently unavailable while they perform network upgrades.

The service window is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM

You may experience intermittent access to EBSCO databases for the duration of the service window, which is scheduled to end at 1:00 PM

We appreciate your patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Although we are still experiencing difficulty with connections to a couple of our databases, there appears to be  some intermittent access both on and off Campus for users of:

  • Oxford Online Journals
  • Sage Journals online

UoN IT and the software provider are currently investigating this problem.

We will advise as soon as the situation is resolved
