Library Classes for Semester 1 2008

The Library information literacy training programme for semester 1 is now available. The classes are open to all students and staff of the University of Newcastle.

Classes include:

  • Introduction to EndNote
  • Importing records into EndNote
  • Advanced EndNote
  • Legal Research for non-Law Students
  • Using Citation Databases

Elsevier ScienceDirect & Scopus Workshop
What is Elsevier? A world leading, multi-media publisher of scientific, technical and health information products and services.

Main online products include:

  • Scopus (abstract and citation database covering more than 15,000 titles from over 4,000 publishers);
  • ScienceDirect (online platform for more than 2,000 Elsevier journals).

This is a hands-on workshop being presented by the Elsevier Ambassadors, in conjunction with NUPSA and the University Library.
