5 Reasons why the UoN library is the place to hide during a Zombie Apocalypse
We want to provide you with a summary of the five reasons that a UoN Library is the best place to hide during a Zombie Apocalypse.
Knowledge is power
Technology will undoubtedly be non-existent so you’ll need a new source for information. Vital information on tactics, food and medical skills will be at your fingertips in the Library.
Build a protective fort
Check out some books on building and architecture! There are heaps of raw materials available to begin building a fort…have you seen the size of some of our reference books?
Silence is golden
Stop running for a while! Relax and bask in the quietness of the Library. Use your after-hours access card for entry and don’t loiter near the doors or keep them open.
OK, so you’ve built up your tactics and first-aid knowledge, begun fort construction, and taken a break from running…now it is time to kick back with some entertainment. Do something unexpected like learn an archaic language, read a book (!) or play bowls (also good for zombie target practice).
If the end is nigh, you may need time to reflect. Check out some philosophy books. If you are at Auchmuty check out Philosophy: the classics by Nigel Warburton. Hanging out at the Central Coast campus? Check out Philosophy: a beginner’s guide by Teichman & Evans. We assume that the City campus will be overrun with Zombies (sorry).
