See the history of UON in pictures during the Festival of Autonomy Archives Exhibition in the Auchmuty Library, located on level 2, just near the lift.

The University of Newcastle Cultural Collections is putting on a special exhibition as part of the Festival of Autonomy, celebrating the University of Newcastle becoming autonomous from UNSW.

The pictures will showcase everything from the University’s humble beginnings in Tighes Hill to Godfrey Tanner at the first ever Autonomy Day.

The Autonomy Archives Exhibition is a FREE event and happening everyday during the Festival of Autonomy.
