Inspirational collection receives recognition!

The University of Newcastle’s Huxley Library was visited recently by staff from the State Library of NSW Indigenous Services who praised the Library’s Indigenous Collection. This collection showcases Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and is used by a range of students studying History, Sociology, Education and Aboriginal Studies at the University.

Huxley Library staff work closely with the Wollotuka Institute Library staff to continually build and maintain this significant resource.

The Library visit is highlighted in a State Library NSW Blogpost, read more here: http://www.sl.nsw.gov.au/blogs/creating-welcoming-indigenous-library-spaces
