Daylight Saving Time starts Sunday, October 6, 2019, 2:00am – so move your clocks forward one hour.
1. Will it fade my curtains? No. We always have the same amount of sunlight we just move time to suit our lifestyle. So it won’t contribute to climate change either!
2. Is more sunlight better for us? Maybe. More vitamin D is good but exposure to UV rays and disruptions to sleep patterns may be harmful.
3. Will we save on energy costs? Doubtful. We may use energy differently but savings would be insignificant.
4. Will it cause Time zones chaos? Probably. In Australia only some states use DLS which can create confusion with transport timetabling and logistics for commerce.
