Help fight Fake News

6 April, 2017

Libraries are all about helping students consider their information choices, select appropriate resources and understand how to use information ethically.

You can help fight Fake News if you see a story on Facebook and you’re not sure it’s real you can report it >click on the top right hand corner of a post >select Report a post >I think it should be on Facebook>it’s a fake news story

Facebook is working with four news organizations/fact-checking groups: ABC News, Politifact, FactCheck, Snopes, as well as  The Associated Press to flag the story as “disputed by third-party fact-checkers.”
